Tree Pack V0.1

This is an early alpha version of my treepack.

It includes 18 trees total, 6 angles in 3 different lighting scenarios.

This pack cost for $18 all of them. That's a dollar per image! This is a fast food price for commercial stock assets (see license details below). This is a price that even Photoshop hobbyist can afford.

The price point is temporary and at this point, it purely pays for the advertising. The reason the price is this low is because I am currently testing the market.

What is it used for?

The tree pack is ideal for ArchViz/Architectural photography. You use the tree kit to either hide imperfections or enhance the composition.

It simplifies a process that usually takes a long time and yields

Traditionally an artist would need to mask out photography . If it has the bad lighting, you are out of luck. Masking trees are a genuine pain in the ass.

You have two choices on approaching masking your trees.

• Mask trees using quick selection tools and have awful masks.
  
• Mask tree using path and go clinically insane due to
  

These are awful options.

Yes. You can buy pre-masked trees from other companies. However, I found them extremely low resolution and/or bad quality masking to the point of being useless. These were not made for print. Also they are very very very expensive. 

Another option would be outsourcing the masking. However, this is again very expensive.

I solved this issue by turning into 3D. It is quite amazing how easy to use they became. This is was my solution, concerning using trees in composition. I started rendering them and voila, instant tree. No more masking since the alpha mask is already included.

Well, I've been using them for my own photoshop documents and now decided to share them with the world. They make a painful process sooo much easier.

With that said... When I rendered these trees, I intended them to be used as background materials. The do look absolutely real with a little blur. However, the leaves are pretty much-lacking details. Also, the tree couldn't be more generic. I didn't design it to take over the image. There are ways to improve the look dramatically and make the. I'm considering creating much more realistic trees if this sells well. If there is a demand for more trees I will go out and create these.

In theory, this pack would pay for itself several times over.
